Room Service for breakfast -- on time.
This morning we had an early tour -- Gaudi's Barcelona. We saw some of the same things that we saw yesterday on our private tour but did get to go inside La Familia Sagrada (Holy Family) Church. The church is not yet finished and has been under construction for 120 years or so. On November 7, 2010 (I was in Barcelona then) the church was solemnly dedicated and declared a basilica by the Holy Father Benedict XVI and became a holy place open for worship.to They don't have regular Mass -- only special occasions.
We went back to Guell Park and saw some other parts of the park that we didn't see yesterday.
It was only a 4 hour tour but still very tiring and when we got back to the ship at 12:30 we went straight to the Vista Dining Room and had lunch. We then came back and took a short nap until time for Bingo. They also sold raffle tickets for a chance to win a free 7 day cruise. We both bought raffle tickets but neither one of us won. We didn't win at Bingo either. That was a total waste of an hour. By the time bingo was over we were leaving port so we went out on our balcony and watched as we sailed away. The Eurodam was in port today so I waved to those on board as we sailed away.
We then decided to go to the Hydrotherapy Pool to relax. After we got out of the pool we tried to relax on the ceramic recliners and they were all full.
Tonight is formal night and nobody was in the mood to dress up so we are all having room service. If it is nice enough we will eat on the balcony. It is 5:30 pm here and we just placed out order and they said it would be here in 45 minutes.
The show tonight is the one I didn't go to the other night -- Opera Interludes. I am planning on going to the 8:00 pm show and sitting in the balcony since I am not dressing up for formal night.
Tomorrow we will be in Monte Carlo. We have a private tour booked there. Our tour guide will take us to the French Riveria and we will finish up going into the casino in Monte Carlo. We don't dock until 10:00 am so we won't have to get going as early tomorrow.
