Well after leaving Charlotte yesterday evening we tried to land at DFW around 8:00 pm but there were storms. After circling around the airport we had to fly to Houston to refuel. At that time 6 people got off the plane because they didn't think the plane would continue on to DFW. They were renting a car and driving. After refueling they started the engines and closed the doors ready to take off for DFW but the Air Traffic Controllers had put a stop to any planes taking off bound for DFW because there was already a lot of traffic in the sky going to DFW that they needed to clear up first. So we continued to sit on the plane. One minute we were told we were getting ready to leave and then we were told we weren't. At one point we went back to the gate so we could get off the plane. Once they opened the doors we were told if we got off the plane we may not be able to get back on because the plane could leave at any minute and then again it may not. More people got off the plane at that point and almost immediately they closed the doors and we took off. This was around 11:00 pm. It took forever to get to DFW because they had storms they had to fly around.
We finally landed at DFW around 12:30 am.
