Today is a Sea day and boring. In the past we had our day pretty planned out. For some reason they decided that bingo didn’t have a big enough turnout so they have cut it back to once a day however I did win $100 today though.

We were up half the night because our cabin was so hot we couldn’t sleep. W turned on a movie and watched it around 1:00 am. The room finally did cool down but we are beat today. It’s as if they turn the air conditioner off at night.

We ate hot dogs for lunch earlier than usual because we didn’t have anything else today do. I went in the buffet to try and get cookies for dessert. We found out that they keep them under lock and key and you have to ask for them. When I asked, they told me they only had them at potty time and at dinner. I am not sure when potty time is. I couldn’t find it on the schedule anywhere and I am sure if I asked him to tell me the time I wouldn’t be able to understand him anyway. They had them at lunch the other day but maybe the Australians were eating too many of them and they are rationing them, or maybe it is the Americans eating too many.

We finally got around to trading in our mini bar. In a suite they gave us a set up of little mini alcohol bottles (assorted types), beer, and sodas. We called and we were able to trade it all in for 18 diet cokes. I am sure they made money on us but that’s ok because we didn’t want the other stuff. We really don’t need the cokes because we have the drink package. However whenever we order coke (we can’t get canned drinks for drink package) we get Pepsi which is not my favorite.

Dinner tonight was one of my favorites. Surf and turf with filet and shrimp was the special. The dessert was brownie with hot fudge sauce and vanilla ice cream. Carrot cak was the sugar free dessert and Mary P and I shared a piece of that.

We watched the show which was a Johnny Cash tribute. We had to watch it in the overflow theatre because it is next to impossible to get a seat in the main theatre if yo don’t get there an hour in advance. It was just ok. It would have been better to see it live.

There was a game show afterwards which was fill in the blank. We stayed to watch it and it was really silly. That is 45 minutes of my life that I will never get back.
